[name]Hi[/name] everyone, I wonder if anyone can help?
We have about 10 weeks to find a good boy’s name for our new baby, and I’m getting worried! My husband is Palestinian and I’m [name]German[/name]/Canadian, and we’d like to find something that sounds relatively international (i.e. can be pronounced well in several languages). We’re both have a [name]Christian[/name] background, so we’d like to steer away from names like [name]Mohammed[/name], although I find many Muslim names beautiful - and many names in the Middle [name]East[/name] are used by both Christians and Muslims. Some [name]Christian[/name] Arabs have French-influenced names, which we personally love, but since we have no French connections and are not Lebanese/Syrian, we are not sure if that’s the way to go.
To give you an idea of what we like, here are a few on our list, although none of these is really a ‘winner’ for us:
[name]Josephe[/name]
[name]George[/name] (I love! although we know too many baby [name]Georges[/name]
)
[name]Laith[/name]
Basel
[name]Issa[/name]
We are willing to relax our ‘rules’ if we really like the name!
