Especially since the right foot doesn't support that much weight in the first place, the only part touching the ground is the tip so it doesn't even make sense to put a peg there honestly...
I have no idea how the stand ended up looking like that but I don't think they just ctrl c ctrl v another stand's figure, I mean come on... No matter the reason, I just wonder how no one noticed though. Maybe there was just a random batch that ended up with the wrong stand ?
