The makers of The Bequeathed have finally dropped the first teaser of the series.Check out the teaser here:
Created and written by Yeon Sang-ho, best known for his work in Hellboud, Train to Busan and Peninsula, The Bequeathed is an adaptation of a webtoon of the same name which was released in November 2023.
The official teaser of the series starts with Kim Hyun-joo's character and her family losing someone significant from their family and has left a family burial ground for them. It then changes to a funeral scene when a man comes and states he is her half-brother. The teaser also gives us glimpses of gory details of someone dying along with Lee Byung-hun, who plays a cop in the series.
As per reports, The Bequeathed revolves around the story of Yoon Seo-ha, who inherits a family graveyard after the sudden death of her uncle and gets embroiled in mysterious events and crimes.
The series stars Kim Hyun-joo, Lee Byung-hun, Ryu Kyung-soo and Park Hee-soon.
The Bequeathed will premiere on January 19, 2024 on OTT.
